It feels a bit like those songs were included just so they’d be able to fill the running time…Īs the performances go on, Odoren steals the Cures’ transformation items – he knows he’d lose in a straight-up fight, so he tries a less direct method for defeating them. Both of these songs come out of seemingly nowhere, and Odoren and Utaen’s song is annoyingly catchy. There’s also a reminder here as to why I dislike Yes! PreCure 5 and its second season, so minus points for that.Ī couple of original songs also make appearances here (not counting the film’s theme song) – one where the Cures show gratitude for their fairies, and Odoren and Utaen get a song as well. I would love to see them actually get an active role in a Pretty Cure All Stars film, but I suspect that won’t happen any time soon… Michiru, Kaoru and Regina all put in appearances during these sequences, though pretty much only as cameos.

These performance and interview sequences actually contain spoilers of varying levels for Fresh, HeartCatch, Suite and DokiDoki!, so that’s something to keep in mind if you intend to watch this.

The performances are followed by interviews with the Cures. These performances feature a blend of CGI dancing and flashbacks to the Cures’ respective continuities. The performances are an assortment of opening and ending themes from their respective continuities. Odoren asks the Cures to perform as part of the Spring Festival, and that’s what makes up the majority of this film…Īs per Odoren’s request, the Cures perform to show gratitude to their fairies. Odoren on the left, and Utaen on the right When they arrive, we get to see the current Cures introduce themselves to the previous bunch. On their way to Harmonia, the Princess Cures learn of all the other Cures. Naturally, all the other Cures receive the same invitation too, because this is an All Stars film. This film opens with the Go! Princess Cures receiving an invitation to the Spring Carnival in a place called Harmonia.
